Authorities reported that the Kentucky State Police Post 3 was alerted by the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office shortly before 12 p.m. after a report of a possible deceased individual at the campground. Upon arrival, troopers located Vaughn and confirmed her death at the scene. She was officially pronounced deceased by the Hart County Coroner’s Office.
